Field Fisher Waterhouse international partner Mark Abell has been freed from his hotel overnight after being caught up in India’s terrorist crisis.
Abell had been among a number of British and US citizens trapped in the Indian financial centre of Mumbai when his hotel was taken over by gunmen.

Bevan Brittan has become the latest firm to announce its figures for the first half of the 2008-09, reporting a marginal increase in year-on-year income.
