HBOS legal head Harry Baines has been confirmed as the new general counsel and company secretary of the combined Lloyds TSB.
The move is part of a raft of management changes following Lloyds TSB’s £12.2bn takeover of HBOS, which is set to be formally approved in January. Baines will take up the post on the approval of the takeover, with the fate of Lloyds general counsel Margaret Coltman currently unconfirmed.
